What started as hands-on experience quickly grew into a lifelong passion for designing mattresses that truly make a difference.

From those early days to today, our family-run business has stayed true to one simple idea: everyone deserves to wake up feeling their best. Long began his journey in the mattress industry in the early 1980s at Dunlop Bedding, where he spent eight years on the factory floor, gaining invaluable insights into mattress manufacturing. He then transitioned to Slumberking Bedding for two years before becoming the Founding Production Factory Manager at SlumberCare Bedding, where he dedicated 12 years of his expertise. During his tenure at SlumberCare from 1995 to 2007, Long designed and received numerous bedding awards, showcasing his innovative approach. In 2007, he established Simply The Best Bedding in Malaga, Western Australia. Here, Long prioritises customer satisfaction and exceptional mattress design over strict financial metrics, positioning his company as a premier bedding supplier for hotels in the Western Australian market. With unparalleled knowledge of the entire bedding process, Long is committed to continuous learning and innovation, always striving to ensure his customers enjoy the best night's rest.
